Motivational Quotes // Collab

Bonjour mes petits crossiants!

I don't know what that was, I'm sorry - anyway! Hey everyone! How've you been? I know its only been about 3 days since my last blog post, but it feels like quite a while! Today, I am going to be writing another blog post for My Happiness Project and its a collab! That's right lovelies, today I'm writing a collab with the lovely Olivia from Olivia Alesha! And we are going to be sharing some quotes that we find motivational and inspiring!

*Cheeky Segway approaching!*

Speaking of My Happiness Project, if you'd like to 'join in' I guess, then you can follow my Pinterest board here where I pin quotes, photos and other cute stuff that makes me feel a bit better!

*Back to the blog post!*

The first quote that I'd like to share with you is from the Disney movie 'Pocahontas'. I have edited the words a little so that it makes more sense, but you'll get the idea. This quote is a quite an influential one for me and I'll tell you why. *Storytime!* As you may know, I haven't been having the best time recently and I went to talk to my headmistress about it and she was quite rude to be honest. I told her about how a lot of the recent world events had shook me a bit and it sort of made me lose a lot of faith in humanity and that I just wanted to give up. But I also said that I wanted to do something about it, I wanted, I WANT to help them, I'm not so sure how yet, but I will. But she said that I shouldn't worry about it because "there's nothing I can do about it", that upset me a lot. But I knew, I KNOW that there are things I can do to help them, I just didn't know how quite then, but the fact that the person who is supposed to make me believe in myself and doing what I know is right, told me that I couldn't do anything because it hadn't affected me really got to me a lot.
After that day at school I went to my lovely friend's house and we watched Pocahontas. There's a quote in there that I love, it goes:

I love this one so much because it gives me a bit of hope. Its like, even though I'm such a tiny part of the world, I can still make the ripple, and it'll grow, I just have to give it time.

Next up is one I found on Pinterest! *Bloomin' love Pinterest*. I think the person who said it was Jack Kerouac and I love this one because its a nice reminder for me to go out and make the memories and the differences that I want to make and there's nothing or nobody that can stop me from doing so. I like this as it motivates me to do a lot of the stuff I was to scared or worried about doing.

For my final quote, I am going to be sharing another quote that I found on Pinterest and I really like this one because if I'm struggling to do something or its taking me ages or something like that, I remember this and it helps me remember that it doesn't matter how long it takes me, because I'm still making progress and I'm still doing well.

That's it for today my lovelies! Be sure to check out Olivia's  post and her amazing blog! Leave one of your motivational quotes for me below! I could do with some more! Also, when I'm writing this, I hit 100 bloglovin followers today! So a massive thank you to all you beautiful people! Anyway,

Parle bientot et Je t'aime,
Charlotte <3
