Valentine's Day Make Up Looks - 2016

Bonjour!
So its February and you know what that means........ VALENTINE'S DAY. Ah yes, the day of happiness, love and sharing affection. Or, if like me, just a normal day. Anyway, I thought I'd do a post with 2 *ish* make up looks/ideas that you might want to try. I say 2 ish as they are the same base, but with different eye and lip looks.

Base

This is my base, but you can do whatever you like/usually do. I started by Real techniques Buffing Brush to apply my Rimmel Stay Matte powder all over my face. Then I used my Real Techniques Blush Brush to apply my Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush on my cheeks. I then used the same brush to add some of my Revlon Highlighting Pallet in Rose Glow, to the tops of my cheeks.

Look 1 - Pretty in Pink

I had this as a more casual/daytime look as  its lighter and not as bold. I will try my best to explain how I did the eye shadow look, as my camera wouldn't pick it up. I have tried to number them so that it goes left to right. I hope it makes sense! In the inner corner I used the colour top 1, then top 4 in the inner lid. Next I used top 2 on the outer lid and top 5 in the crease. Then, to finish off, I added bottom 5, to my outer corner.
For lips, I used my Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Afternoon Tea; its a really pretty pinky/coral colour and is not sticky at all.

Look 2 - Rose Gold Shimmer

This is more of a formal/evening look, in my opinion. For eyes I am using my w7 In the Nude Pallet, which I love (I have done a review here) . Once again, my camera wouldn't pick up the colour on my eyes, so I am going to try and explain it to you. So in the inner corner of my eye, I used the 1st colour as it is just a pale creamy/white colour, so it brightens up my eyes a bit. Then, for the inner lid, I used a mixture of 2 and 3, 2 is a more shimmery colour and 3 is more of a pearly/matte colour. Next I added 5 to my outer lid and 6 to the crease, it is a more of a coppery/rose gold colour. Then, finally I added 8 to my outer corner, it is a little darker than the others.
Then for lips, I used my Lip Lustre Lip Gloss by Seventeen, in the colour Three Little Words, it is a slightly darker, pinky/red ish colour. *That didn't make any sense, sorry*.

Anyway, I'm really sorry that I couldn't get clear photos to show you, but I hope it makes some sense. I'm thinking of maybe doing a post for V-Day Outfits and one for V-Day Hairstyles, so let me know if you'd like those!

Parle Bientot,
Charlotte <3
